I want to redirect requests to /events/* that don't request a real file to new_index.php
This is what I'm trying:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^/events/(.*)$ new_index.php [QSA,L]

I have this in my VirtualHost block, I tried it in a Location block too but couldn't get it to work, which is best?
