#aussie-nintendo rules:

The rules are quite a bit more lenient in there, but there are some guidelines you should follow in order to avoid being banned.

The server rules are the most important, not following these will result in an absolute ban from the server and possible reporting to your ISP; they are as follows:

The AusIRC IRC Network is to be used primarily for gaming related purposes,
however it may also be used for general chat, project development and
special interest group related purposes.

If a client (user) connected to the AusIRC Network is found to be using
this server for other purposes, such as, but not limited to, topics of
hacking, distribution of hack passwords, malicious actions towards other
users or entities on the Internet (such as but not limited to, websites,
servers, routers, etc), they will have to suffer the actions of the server
admin(s), the decision of the admin(s) of this server are final.

IRC is an un-moderated medium, we are not responsible for anything said or
done to you while connected to AusIRC Network.

IRC IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT

We allow 3 connections per IP.
You are allowed up to 1 BOT, as long as it doesn't attract attention to it's
self or cause harm in any way.

By connecting and staying connected to the AusIRC Network, you agree to the
above Terms and Conditions of use.

1. No spamming. Saying things more than once doesn't make people notice you and just gets you kicked by the service bot.
2. No advertising. You can a site once if it comes up in conversation or you find it interesting. Just no "join my site plz www.whatever.com"
3. Respect and listen to the operators. Arguing with them and acting like a twat will only get you kicked and/or banned.
4. Do not constantly change your nickname. This is annoying, confusing and can mess up our statsbot.
5. Do not ask for ops. This is much the same ask asking for moderator status on a forum, it will NOT GET YOU ANYWHERE. Ops are chosen when they are needed based on your activity and ability to be responsible.
6. Do not be annoying. IRC can be a much more hostile environment, and unlike the forums in most cases, you CAN be banned for being annoying.
7. Do not join other channels with the sole intention of spamming etc. This might in some cases even result in you being banned from the entire server.

Offenses in #aussie-nintendo MAY result in a ban from the site as well depending on the seriousness. This is/would be rare, but may happen.
