If the sound is not working properly after you installed flash or you experience one of the above symptoms, try one of the following solutions:
    * Install the alsa-oss package.
    * Edit the firefox rc script:

      sudo nano /etc/firefox/firefoxrc

    * Add/Change line:

      FIREFOX_DSP="aoss"
