I’m apologizing for the previous our answer. I’ll support hardware DCHAN in a next release and but the current version still doesn’t support hardware DCHAN. So, please disable hardware DCHAN for now. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, ---- next ---- Dchan feature is help you optimized performance for you system. Instead of running HDLC in a driver level, we are doing it in hardware and sending HDLC packet to PRI stack. So we will require for asterisk to support PRI stack. Thanks for the response. I just want to verify, does this mean that a PRI is not currently possible with the FreeBSD drivers? You should be able to use it without hardware dchan (hdlc core inside zaptel driver). In this case, ddisable TDMV_DCHAN from wanpipe configuration file and I'll send all traffic on channel 24 to zaptel driver. It will provide hdlc decoding and send data to PRI stack. I'm thinking to support it during September/October. It is on my desk for the long time. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, ---- next ---- You can take a look voip-info.org. There is lot of information there. I don't have test machine right now, but I think PRI stack is implemented in zaptel/asterisk (for linux OS it done inside libpri). DCHAN support doesn't include PRI stack. It only provides HDLC decoding in a hardware level inside of doing it in software. Later this month, I'll going to release new wanpipe package and I'll test PRI with DCHAN support. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards,
