Pete Pythagoras was found on the doorstep of a buddhist monastery. There he learned the art of the abacus for 6 years. Pete boarded a ship to New York City where he became fascinated with hip-hop and learned how to freestlye while waiting for the bus at Port Authority. He then made a voyage to the tri-county region of Upstate N.Y. bringing with him his freestyle skills and a desire to start a band. The vibrations of the bass called to him. Pete studied the art of adding melody to movement, the groove, and began looking for someone to add the beat to his formula. He thought of his friend and one time schoolmate,Al Gorithm. The two decided to calculate the equation of the rhythm section but came to the conclusion they wanted to add a variable, the melody. Quickly approaching their friend and lab partner, Dewi Decimal, with their proposition, he enthusiastically agreed to play keyboards with Pete and Al.
