I'm just looking into kde semantic desktop technologies, I really like this environment - much better technologies than gnome - I've worked with gnome in the past and writing glib programs in C is nightmare C++/Qt is much more pleasant anyway, what I'm after is kind of media library (movies, documentaries, tv shows mainly, maybe music but I use mpd for now) I would like nepomuk to scan the collection I have, pull some data from imdb.com for example and then use some kio slave for browsing media:/ just like timeline:/ so I can browse by year, genre etc. do you know of any ongoing efforts like that?
