Derpy Hooves was the name given to an anonymous grey pegasus from the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic after fans noticed the crossed eyes of the background character in the first episode of season 1. After widespread popularity amongst the fanbase, executive producer Lauren Faust acknowledged the character, and the buzz surrounding her. Faust proceeded to give hope to the fandom, stating that the character "Ditsy Doo," who was referenced as an less-than-intelegent pegasus in Winter Wrap Up, could potentially become the show's go-to character should they wish to include Derpy in later episodes. Therefore, while Ditsy's appearance is unknown, it is safe to assume that the production crew of MLP will wish to model her after Derpy Hooves and develop the fan character.

Additional names for Ditsy Doo include Ditzy Doo, Bubbly Shines, and Bright Eyes.
