=Introduction= Tinycore is a GNU-free hierarchical MySQL database wrapper; not a framework. It doesn't aim to change the way you already develop, instead its goal is to enhance your own development process, without dominating it. The ideology is that of modular development, but _not_ in the sense of developing bullets of a certain caliber so that they all fit into the barrel of the same gun, but rather, developing a variety of guns which use the same caliber of bullet. =But wait, there's more!= While Tinycore itself is nothing more than a simple way to access a database, the Tinycore initiative is far more spectacular. We have developed a cluster of systems that are unified through Tinycore, eliminating the common redundancies in having, say, a forum and a weblog on the same website. Before Tinycore, if you wanted to use two systems on the same website you would either have to treat them independently, forcing your users to register seperate accounts, making redundant configurations, or, create your own hacks to synchronize the individual databases. But with Tinycore, the modular forum-system depends upon a modular users-system, which the modular weblog-system also depends upon. So common data is shared, elimiting the aforesaid redundancies.
