;:THE ABSOLUTE BASIC MIRC SCRIPT TUT, DEDICATED TO MEHDO_X, LEARN IT DUH! ;:(all scripts are created by clicking the [/a*] button on mirc and then under the remote section... ENJOY!);: on *:TEXT:!texthere *:*: { msg/notice/describe $nick/$chan *message here* } ;: the "texthere" part is the "trigger" it is what ppl will have to type to activate the script... its called an ON TEXT even on script language;: ;: the { bracket opens this part of the script, and ofcourse the } closes it... there must be equal number of open and closening brackets;: ;: the msg/notice/describe are the definers of the ways a bot will deliver the message. describe sends the message as thick and pink (unless you change the color), the msg sends the message as a completely normal message and finaly the notice sends the message as a "in-chat" query that others cannot see. (commonly used in the ! stat scripts for an example. the ! will notice the nick and @ will msg);: ;: the $nick/$chan is what or who the message is delivered to. example if you want to private message a person it would be /msg $nick, and if you want to message the channel it would be /msg $chan, as you learn there will come more ways to deliver a message but this is the preferred;: ;: now the "*message here*" part is ofcourse were you can type any text you want to ;: ;: example of then its done: ;: on *:TEXT:!Baa *:*: { msg $chan BAA! nice toturial smooth! BAA! } ;:OTHER USEFULL's;: $rand(0,0) ;:randomise the numbers, example $rand(100,0) will randomise any number between 100 and 0;: $read(0.txt) ;:reads the "0".txt file in the mirc section.(replace "0" with filename);: $address($0,0) ;:used to tell the adress of $0,0 "0" is the number 0 word in the event trigger, replace with any. (commonly use $$2,2 to specify the exact person);: ;:VARIABLES;: ;:variables or "vars" are a way of storing up to 261 charrecters, variable are easily created with;: set %varname text to be save here ;:the varname can be replaced with any name you want to the variable. eg. %read and the "text to be saved here" part is were you put any text you want saved in the varibale ;: ;: you can also replace set %read with var %read to create a variable existing only for the specify script ;: ;: after you have created a "set" variable you can unset it with unset %read , this resets the variables data to nothing ;: ;:STATEMENTS;: ;: IF statements are the most common statements used, scripters use these to create a requirement or a exeption for the trigger event. my example is;: { if ($nick isop $chan) { texthere } } ;: this command checks if the nickname who triggered the command has operator status on the current channel. you can use ishop for halfops and isvoice for voice, this message will only be triggered if the nickname who triggered it is an operator;: ;: for making a double if statement use;: { if ($nick isop $chan) || ($nick ishop $chan) || ($chan == #channelname) { texthere } } ;: this is basicly the same as the other, tho you might want to notice that i didnt repeat the "if's" insted i just created two | . this checks for if nickname is operator OR haflop in current channel, and if the channel is "#channelname" ;:ELSE STATEMENTS;: ;: then an if statement is created you can use an else statement to make a command that is triggered if the nickname did not pass the if statement, Example;: { if ($nick isop $chan) || ($nick ishop $chan) || ($chan == #channelname) { texthere } } { else { notice $nick "messagehere" } } ;: or you could use an elseif statement to create a double if statement but with the 2nd triggered on else ;: { if ($nick isop $chan) || ($nick ishop $chan) || ($chan == #channelname) { texthere } { elseif ($nick isvoice $chan) { notice $nick "messagehere" } { else halt } } } ;: in this message it first check if the nickname is op, halfop and if the channel is #channelname and the on elseif it checks if nickname is voice and the at last if nickname wasnt either of all these it "halts" the event, specifyed with halt ;:
