To all students registered on PH228 - Scientific Method, Dr Peter Madden is unable to continue teaching this module. With effect from Monday 30th October 2006 (starting with Monday's seminar group), the module will be taught by Dr Deryck Horton. Dr Horton has taught this module on many previous occasions. I apologise for the change of tutors and any disruption this may cause in your studies. In order to minimise disruption for yourselves and to ensure that your assessment and credit for this module does not suffer as a result of this change I have decided that: (a) the content of the module for this term will include only that material covered by Dr Horton from 30th October onwards; i.e. you will only be assessed on material covered by Dr Horton; (b) Although the above means that the module will have a reduced content, you will still receive the full ten weeks CATS credit due to you for registering for PH228 on the basis of the remaining six weeks of study. I trust that the above will mitigate the disruption caused by the change of tutor. To all students registered on PH228 - Scientific Method, Dr Peter Madden is unable to continue teaching this module.
