I was hoping that you would be able to assist with finding me a Unix person for the following project at a clients location in New York City.  If you this fits your background, please let me know.

 

 

Unix project facts:

 

1. Custom server circa '95.

2. Unix version: SCO Open Server version 5.0 3. Original SCO CD is still in the cd drive.

4. An old accounting program runs on the server called Maestro by a company called Genix Software - I haven't found any info on this company or the software on the web.

5. The server still boots and seems to run the acct program without any problems. 

 

 

Scope of project:

1. Help install a printer to output information.

2. Help export information to a floppy.

3. Help devise a plan to either move the accounting program into a virtual environment on an NT box or move a new box running some flavor of Unix.
