when using unicast stream this is the error im getting on mythtv:

 This line streams a DVD to a Multicast address on port 1234 so all backends could see it

vlc dvdsimple:///dev/dvd  ":sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,mux=ts,dst=224.0.0.199:1234}}"   



 This streams a mpeg file to a unicast/direct address on my backend so only that specific backend can see it.

vlc 2524_20051231180000.mpg  ":sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,mux=ts,dst=192.168.0.10:1234}}"                     


In mythtv-setup I defined a capture device (CRC IP recorder) on all of my backends
for recording from the multicast
URL: udp://224.0.0.199:1234?multicast=1    


And a specific one on my 192.168.0.10 backend
URL: udp://192.168.0.10:1234
