[02:47] Since the two God's have no physical manifestation, they have to exist as energy. [02:48] Law of Physics, what isn't matter is energy and what isn't energy is matter. [02:48] The Nature God, given his state of mind, emits a different form of Energy as the Technology God [02:49] Makes sense so far. [02:49] The nature god uses his energy to influence his world into growing the certian way it grew (variety of races, lots of flora and fauna.. ideals based on Life) [02:50] And the tech god does the same [02:50] Anyhow, the influence from this point on will be known as "Presence" just to give it a title. [02:51] So the Nature God's presence is what causes magical aptitude, and fairy like creatures, and such. Since its energy it has a wavelength and its in part of the spectrum that causes genetic mutation (radiation) [02:52] Hmm... definitly makes sense to me. [02:52] Anyhow, as I mentioned before, the God's wagered on who would create the best and most promising world. [02:53] Since the Tech God ends up losing, as his mindset was of greed and wealth rather than life and love, he gets fucking pissed. [02:54] His presence starts to leak into the Nature world [02:54] Sounds good. =) [02:54] and at first causes very minor influence.. monsters become slightly more violent, terrain like volcanoes and such start appearing, and people start rebelling against the normal way of life. [02:55] Then the Empire (for lack of a better name) forms. They become a form of government easily since there wasn't one already, and begin to focus on amassing wealth. [02:56] As the Tech God's presence becomes more influential, other areas of the world start getting affected (think spreading cloud, thickest at the center). The Empire becomes more 'evil' and areas around start being influenced. [02:56] The spreading of the cloud is masked/represented by the Empire's spreading power. [02:57] Ah, interesting. [02:58] As it starts to expand to the further reaches of the world, the Nature God (whose influence was strong in Sileas [magically apt people exist here mostly] due to it being in the process of being developed), retaliates and influences a birth. That birth is the nature god's "avatar" and is meant to be the nature god's physical manifestation. [02:59] Since Gods are all knowing, the Tech God puts his name into the hat and the birth becomes twins. [02:59] Restierd and Aislinn. [02:59] oooh [03:00] Since all this is masked by events, and the God's actual influence isn't seen by the people in the world, a series of events lead to their seperation and the events of the game unfold. [03:00] Sounds perfectly understandable and reasonable to me. And not really anything like FF7 IMHO. [03:00] Restierd is magically impotent, since he was a product of the Tech God, but since the God's used a very high amount of Presence, he becomes drunk with Revenge. [03:01] Aislinn, however, is filled with a sense of obligation to help and be caring (Aeris vs Sephiroth relation here, unfortunately) [03:01] This however is where the game starts [03:01] We already have everything up to the end plotted out [03:02] ^^ [03:02] Sounds great to me. Should be an interesting play for sure. [03:03] The end of the game, after Aislinn has realized her link to the Nature God, finds a link to the Tech God's old world (which is still in existence but lies in ruins) and obtains a weapon to defeat Restierd (very advanced airship). In doing so, however, the link between worlds collapses and the Tech God no longer has influence in the Nature world (since there is no link). The explosion leaves a HUGE well in the middle of the ocean where water [03:03] drains infinately [03:04] ooooh [03:04] I figure the Tech God was able to influence the Nature World because he influenced his world into creating a link between the worlds [03:05] Yeah, sounds plausable enough. Just remember, you don't need to explain every detail in the game, if the story's good enough, It'll carry well without a full explination of everything. [03:06] And this story sounds very good to me.
