[13:02] <somekool> I'm trying to access PDF file from ruby which are located on a networked drive (winxp). there is a mount point set to N:\
[13:02] <somekool> when I run irb and do 
[13:02] <somekool> File.exist?(filename) 
[13:02] <somekool> it returns true
[13:03] <somekool> but when I run a ruby process from Apache, the same File.exists? returns false
[13:03] <somekool> the only difference I could find is the process is run under a different Windows User (apache run under SYSTEM user and irb run under my own user account).
[13:04] <somekool> but I can't beleive this really makes the difference
[13:04] <somekool> I am without a clue in front of this problem.
[13:04] <somekool> anyone got an idea?
