As of this morning, we had trouble accessing a dependecy for servicemix-jms and other projects. We could not access the dependency described as

org.apache.geronimo.specs:geronimo-qname_1.1_spec:test:1.0.1

We found that this depencency was introduced by geronimo:geronimo-kernel:jar:1.1.

Looking in the pom.xml for geronimo:geronimo-kernel:jar:1.1, we found the geronimo:specs dependency described as follows:

We thing the line

<type>test</type>

should be

<scope>test</scope>

We made that change locally and it cleared up the problem
