IST 225 HTML Web PAGE Assignment


You are to design and create a web page that describes a subject area that you find interesting. (You can make this related to employment, family, hobbies, activities, investments, etc.)

Using NOTEPAD, create an HTML file with your last name as the file name.

In the head element, include an appropriate page title that includes your name somewhere in the title, along with comments describing the purpose of the page, your name as the author, and the date authored.

Include at least one example of each of the following in the document:
•	At least 3 headings at a minimum of 2 different heading levels
•	A paragraph
•	An ordered or unordered list
•	At least 3 different types of text formatting
•	An inline image 
•	A horizontal line
•	At least 2 different examples of inline style

Your page MUST have at least 2 links. One link should go to the www.tctc.edu site. The other link can go to a site of your choice.

Use proper HTML syntax and produce documented code that is easy to read and understand. 

Print a copy of your HTML code and print a copy of the Web page that results from your code. Submit those printouts along with media with a copy of your (working) html code. (Be sure to include all files necessary for your file to “work” on any machine.)

[You can submit these files electronically. Just be sure that you paste the screen print(s) of your Web page into a Word file, along with the other files.]
