I already have Benjamins Mac front-end to Asterisk that controls it,
but I still need
to edit and get the dialplan file to work...

I think what I might want to do,  and I'm usually sucessful,  is to have
a kind of
"work party" and invite 1 or 2 people over here and we all work on it
together.
For me,  this is one of the ONLY ways I can really get anything like
this done.

There is one other people (from the LUG) I would invite....

The person who gave me the Mac Asterisk controller program lives in Japan,\
and he visited me a year ago,  but now has just magically dissapeared,
leaving me
with a system that Used to be connected to "VIOPStunt" from Germany,
but that
company is very shady,  and totally unwilling to communicate with me,
and although
they requested I pay $10 advance fee to get on their network,  all calls
to up to
18 countries is free,  but (sigh) I got discouraged then their lines
were all busy,
but I did make some pretty long calls to Germany (landline of course).
VIOPStunt
does NOT suppport asterisk but we were able to get it to work anyway -
but now it
don't...

I know my diaplan needs serious updating to remove that service, and for
incoming
I'm using "voicePulse" and I need to contact them about also getting
outgoing,
although calls WILL cost me,  but they are pennies per minute...

If I were to pick an advance date for this "work party" and invited
you,  would you come?

I'll try and have refreshments like beer and pizzza during a break,  and
would expect it
to take all day if the others want to just hang out and "play".

My apartment is just a studio apartment, and I normally don't let anyone
over except for
these things very rarely.  I tried to get "Strom" over here (he's been
over here before),
but Strom likes to make promises he can't keep, so I'm not really
expecting him to
participate....
