add the following code to the bottom of init.js from the chattytunes script:

    } 
    catch (ex)

    }
    if (songstatus === "" || songstatus == null) {
        songstatus = "No song playing...";
    }
    client.defaultStatus=songstatus;
}

also put:
var interval_id;
interval_id = window.setInterval(setsongstatus, 5000);
in the enable_plugin function

and add:
window.clearInterval(interval_id);
to the disable_plugin function
