I do not want to turn this in to a debate because when you use someone else servers you are subject to be monitored by the system administrator. Question: When you have a client login to your server using ssh -R option I need to be able to log all of the connections ip address for the outgoing connections. This information is critical and will be used to determine what is and what is not abuse on the incomming connections on my linux server. This is not issue about trusting the client but the log files are critical because administrator is required to have the proper tools in order to do there job. Without this information by reviewing the router log files and trying to compare the users outgoing connects from the router log files will make it impossible to continue to secure the server and report abuse when it accures on the server without accidently repoorting the client.
