Engineering guide Drones: Perfect tools for engineers, can be bought on Roche from the drone shop Makecontainer: Bothan mesh can be bought on Roche for 1 credit each, good for making containers since it fits under the armor layers. Makecomlink: Use a crystal, board, and battery. Battery level (power supply) doesn't matter and the crystal can be anything as well. Crystals can be gotten for free on Sullust in the mines. Can be made on the wrist, ears, hold, and finger locations. Makeflashlight: Uses chemicals, board, lens, and battery. Battery strength matters. Best batteries are the 'Arakyd advanced battery cell' because they give 1000 hours of light. other materials don't really matter what sort you use, just use the cheapest. Can make Force Pikes by having a staff in your inventory. Spice Refining: Glitterstim on Kessel is basically the only use for this. Good for RP I suppose and once Ryll and such are found around the mud. May already be there but I havn't found them yet *shrugs*. Makearmor: Alright, this one is an important one. The armor system works in a layered system. Underlayers (1-3) can't be seen if the person is wearing a fourth layer. Layers of makearmor fit over the container layer made of Bothan Mesh. Layer order goes: Synthafabric, Cu-pa Hide, Durasteel PLATING, and Bantha Hide. The Body, Arms, Hands, Waist, Legs, Feet, and About locations are stackable. Head and Over are not, so make those from Durasteel PLATING since that gives more AC than Bantha Hide. General format for making the underlayers of armor is as follows: L1 Body L1 Arms L1 Hands L1 Waist L1 Legs L1 Feet L1 About L2 Body L2 Arms L2 Hands L2 Waist L2 Legs L2 Feet L2 About L3 Body L3 Arms L3 Hands L3 Waist L3 Legs L3 Feet L3 About Makejewelry: This one is also useful as it takes up the spots of Finger, Finger, Wrist, Wrist, Neck, Neck, Ears, and Eyes. These give a bit more AC on top of the basic armor layers so they're generally asked for by those who want the most AC they can get. Generally I use Katasik Metal but if you find something that gives better AC than that, be sure to mention it in a reply here. Makeshield: This is a very nice piece of equipment. It gives AC based on the gem used in it. The basic required pieces are a superconductor, battery (type doesn't matter), board, and a gem. Corusca gems give the most AC, 36, but are hard to get since only forcers can get to them. In general the best uses are from Ice Crystals which you can go find on Hoth. Those give 34 AC. Makelandmine and Makegrenade: Never really experimented with these, but I'm going to guess if better chemicals or a bigger container are used then they may do more damage. Need someone to test/verify these if they get the chance. Makeblaster: Very important to max before selling these, basic materials are duraplast, board, battery (type doesn't matter), and a superconductor. Once you have this skill maxed all blasters that we sell are made with a lens and a second DIFFERENT TYPE of superconductor for a +2/+2 HR/DR. Ammo in hand while making these also makes them fully loaded.
