hello. trying to setup a simple 2-nic bridge according to http://tldp.org/HOWTO/BRIDGE-STP-HOWTO/ but I can't seem to get it to work even simple test as in http://tldp.org/HOWTO/BRIDGE-STP-HOWTO/set-up-the-bridge.html#BASIC-SETUP doesn't work either bridge gets created Ok, if gets created ok. packets from outside seem to get into de box where the bridge is, but packets going out do not seem to make it. a simple ping to any ip in the brigde fails with Unreachable host tried to set up routing manually. when I set up the bridge, the command brctl seems to have removed the original eth0 and eth1 routes. added manually. tried 2 cases: 1) manually I added route to the bridge itself, and 2) added manually routes to original eths nothing seems to work. iptables disabled help :)
