when I try ffplay http://64.157.15.135:8040 I got only the audio while when with mplayer I got video and audio same thing with vlc I got only audio with this error "main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `VP62'." Someone on the videolan chan told me that vlc uses ffmpeg to read vp62 format, so how can I check that ffmpeg is actually supporting vp62 codec ? ticapix ticapix # ffmpeg -formats | grep -i vp62 FFmpeg version CVS, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard configuration: --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --disable-static --enable-shared --cc=i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc --disable-altivec --disable-debug --disable-dv1394 --disable-opts --enable-mp3lame --enable-pthreads --enable-xvid --enable-libogg --enable-vorbis --enable-dts --enable-faad --enable-faac --enable-amr_nb --enable-amr_wb --enable-gpl --enable-pp --disable-strip libavutil version: 49.0.0 libavcodec version: 51.9.0 libavformat version: 50.4.0 built on Nov 18 2006 04:43:11, gcc: 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1) no result ticapix ticapix # ffmpeg -formats | grep -i nsv FFmpeg version CVS, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard configuration: --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --disable-static --enable-shared --cc=i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc --disable-altivec --disable-debug --disable-dv1394 --disable-opts --enable-mp3lame --enable-pthreads --enable-xvid --enable-libogg --enable-vorbis --enable-dts --enable-faad --enable-faac --enable-amr_nb --enable-amr_wb --enable-gpl --enable-pp --disable-strip libavutil version: 49.0.0 libavcodec version: 51.9.0 libavformat version: 50.4.0 built on Nov 18 2006 04:43:11, gcc: 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1) D nsv NullSoft Video format one result and here are my use flags for compiling it.
