Subject: Were the designers of this web page... ...as clueless as it appears to me, or is it just the case that my two browsers don't respond to the page properly? http://www.hahaha.com/en/television/tournament/stan-ryckman.html Mouse over "Actor Profile," and unless you have a really big monitor, you should need to scroll down the window to read all the text about Ari Cohen. But wait! You *can't* scroll down, because as soon as you move your cursor off "Actor Profile," you're returned to "Player Profile." I have nothing to do with the making of this page, but I might drop a note to the webmaster if I can verify that other people are seeing the same behavior with other browsers. Patty ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a big enough monitor, but if I make the browser window less than most of the screen I can see exactly the same as you in my Firefox 1.5 beta 2 in Linux. The downarrow key on the keyboard doesn't do any good either. -- sidney ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ah, I tried the down arrow; it worked in Firefox. In Safari, the page jumped down but then back up again, so I still wasn't able to read the bottom part. And it gets better: I tried to use their contact page to alert them to this problem, but when I clicked Submit, I got a pop-up window asking for my username and password to "view" some page. Yes, the contact page is written in Javascript, too. So their bad Javascript is preventing me from letting them know about their bad Javascript. I give up! Patty
