Jody,

I am writing this mail because I heard something confusing was said in IRC. Someone mentioned that they had been informed that they did not receive the position they were a candidate for on the Challenger.

As I am still awaiting your list of candidates that I requested, the better part of a week ago, and haven't approved the two recommendations that you made I am at a loss to explain the comment.

No one should be confirmed or denied at this point. I still want to review the list of applicants, as well as confirm the eligibility of anyone who is a candidate for either of the two positions.

Further, as Academy Commandant, the final approval for you to place either position rests with me.

Please email me, so we can sort this out, and finally get the two spots filled so the Challenger can be properly staffed.

Thank you,
Brian
