Since a certain friend of mine asked me to write a paragraph about what kind of hobbies I like and why I like them, I have decided to do so. First of all, I'd like to say how much I love programming. Not only do I enjoy the actual process of creating a program, but also to look at a finished product and think "This is something that I made." I'm also into drawing. I've been drawing since I was a little kid, but that was nothing more than doodling. For the past years I've been trying to get into the art of manga-style drawing. Despite the fact that it's a really time consuming hobby and that the learning curve is really steep unless you have talent, I try to think of drawing as a way to relieve myself of stress. It works really well and it really shows when I look in my sketchbook to find things that I couldn't fathom myself creating a couple of years ago. The same could be said about yet another hobby of mine, namely playing my guitar. I'm in really early stages of this extremely time consuming hobby; thus my abilities to play are not very good.
