Ok, If's are good if you want something to answer if something is typed into a command (etc, !google whatever). so at the beginning of a hello script, change 

on 1:TEXT:hello*:#:msg $chan Welcome to $chan $nick!

to:

on *:TEXT:hello*:#:{
  msg $chan Welcome to $chan $nick!
}

how do you add a if thing? change the above to:

on *:TEXT:hello*:#:{
  if ($2 == Gsus) {
    msg $chan Welcome to $chan Gsus!
  }
  else {
    msg $chan Welcome to $chan someone else than the 1337 Gsus!!
  }
}

This means that if someone types hello Gsus, it will say Welcome to $chan Gsus!
otherwise, it will say Welcome to $chan someone else than the 1337 Gsus!! and that is Guest1337's guide to if's.
