For the body color, change the color of the font and the color of the background to anything you want.

set the width on the holder div to the width you want your website to be.

set the background of the holder div to whatever color you want.

change the header div background color to anything you want.

insert your company logo into the top header div. make sure to remove the P tag.

set the width and the padding of the left nav div. Make sure to change the margin of your #content div after you'f changed the side of the width and padding of the nav div. width + padding = margin of the content div. add 5 pixels because IE sometimes adds a phantom 3 pixels to the value.

NOTE: First, Internet Explorer currently has a double-margin bug. This affects the side of the div that you're floating toward. For a right float, it's the right margin; for a left float, it's the left margin. For this reason, I always zero that margin. If I need to create space, I use padding (remember that padding is inside the div and margin is outside the div). You can use the padding either inside that floated div or on the div's parent container, depending on the effect you want.

This main content div has a left side border, border-left: 1px solid #000000;, simply erase this if you want to.
