Colin Christensen March 19, 2007 period 2 Crop Circles and Ghosts I believe crop circles are real and ghosts are completely fake. There is no way someone could be “haunted” by evil spirits. Crop circles have a proven cause that I'm going to tell you about. I will also give you facts that ghosts are fake. Crop circles are geometrical formations in a field of crops. They have been found in England in such crops as wheat, barley, canola, rye, corn, linseed, and soy. It was first observed in England in the late 1970's. Some explanations for them were told and spread around the world. But in 1991 two men named Doug Bower and Dave Chorley confessed to have been making the crop circles in England since 1978. They had been using only planks, rope, hats and wire as their tools. I acquired this information from Wikipedia. This next bit of information comes to you from Fiona Broome and the Hollow Hill staff. It features a picture of floating “ ghost orb.” Which she explains to be just a pollen orb in the form of a fingerprint. Another picture from this sight features a purple streak running across the lense of her camera when she took a picture. She was at a haunted graveyard and felt that she'd taken a picture of some kind of presence and said,”Whoa! What was that!” Every time after she took a picture she'd feel it more. It was probably just a light refraction from the flash. I'm not going to admit to ghosts. So in conclusion you can see that crop circles are a proven phenomenon, and although ghosts can seem real they can have a common explanation. Most photos are touched up or altered with such programs as Photoshop. So don't believe all that you see. “Crop Circle.” Wikipedia.
