This is currently how I start my raid array:

cd /dev
./MAKEDEV md
mdadm -B /dev/.static/dev/md0 --level=0 --raid-devices=3 /dev/hd[ceg]
mount /dev/.static/dev/md0 /home/media

I tried the examples in the max page which fail, is there something I can put in mdadm.conf to make this happen automatically?
