I am Frans de Jong and work at the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva.

We are planning a seminar to inform and discuss Open Source software for use
in the professional media industry. We would like to include time for Ubuntu
Studio. For example for a media professional who has tested Ubuntu Studio
and who can tell us about the pros and cons. Or a developer who shows how
difficult/easy it is to create good OS solutions.

Are you interested to participate in this event?

Presentation duration is ca. 30 minutes (incl. questions). Other speakers
invited will for example be FSF, broadcasters using OS solutions and parties
offering other professional tools based on OS. The programme will include
demonstrations, tutorials and time to meet other participants. The seminar
will be open to all interested, but we especially expect many broadcasters
to attend. The event is non-commercial (a small fee may be necessary to
cover costs).

Please inform us on the status of Ubuntu Studio to help us decide if we can
feature you in the programme. As you can see in attached flyer, the event is
planned for 1-2 October this year, at the EBU in Geneva (Switzerland).
