“See... Thing 'bout this idea is that it's just kinda hard to write anything more than nothing about it,” I said, talking to some weird people in an Instant Message chatroom. They replied (I fixed their mangled attempts at English), “You just wrote a story on 6 people whose responses to any form of stimuli range from going insane to sitting and humming nervously, I'm pretty sure you can write an entire story about nothing” So ya, that's why I'm writing this story...about nothing. I'm starting this now in my 7th year of school and I'm sure this is going to be lost, found, saved to a floppy and buried, dug up and read with 20 year old technology and posted on some random forum, where I'll find it and sue them for plagiarizing. Then I'll re-write it and this introduction will have been completely lost and it won't even recognize the fact that I started in 7th grade. Given the fact that I'm writing about nothing I'm probably going to end up writing about a whole mess of unimportant and boring things which will make no sense when I read them a short as an hour later. In fact, given all the things I can think about writing and telling you about in the introduction (This is an introduction...right?) the “introduction” might be longer than anything I can think about writing. I just realized that those boring and unimportant things are probably better called Anecdotes, which lead me to a possible name of Anecdotal, but I don't know, maybe it's better off named Nothing, then it'd attract weird people like me. Heck maybe I should name this section the “Opening Rant”. 'Cause this is hardly a introduction, it seems more like my rambling on random subjects which may or may not be related to this “book”, if it has even a vague possibility of becoming so. I realize that anyone that's been able to even read the passage/story/book up to this point is probably about to go, “Good God what is this crap?” and promptly throw it back onto the discount shelf (if this actually a book at the time you're reading it). I'm also fairly sure you're going to keep that idea if you can keep reading this, because this is basically how my head works, and how my heads works is usually not the most understandable things.
