God damn, how am I supposed to do this...? * DavidHKMrPowers (n=chatzill@unaffiliated/davidhkmrpowers) has joined ##java OK, I have to make a gui application for a library * Carnage\ has quit () * lang72 has quit ("Leaving") The second button searches the library for descriptions of books and outputs them if they match the entered string I have that working fine But the third button is confusing m e It is for setting a borrower on a book But the book to be set is meant to be the book that was generated in the last search * Insolit has quit (Nick collision from services.) In order to do this, it has to check if there was only one result from the last search And I do not have a clue how that would be done! Anyone got any ideas? * Insolit (n=daniel@a83-132-232-71.cpe.netcabo.pt) has joined ##java The search method only uses System.out.println to output the searches, if the search string was contained in the descritpion of the book So it probably has to somehow count the number of lines outputted by the search method Is this possible? And if it is, how do I then make it save the output if it is one line only?
