About

This page is a proof of concept of the huge potential of a metapackage handler - developed by Benjamin Weber. With this technology users can install packages and add repositories with a simple click on a link in a website. The link leads to an xml-file that holds the information about which repositories to add and which packages to install. It can be likened to an extremely easy to use, online addon-cd, from a user perspective. This can help solve a number of the biggest problems for openSUSE.

To test this you're required to install this package. It includes the necessary YaST module and it will make Konqueror support the above mentioned xml-file (ymp). Support for Firefox, Opera and perhaps other browsers is not yet available, but is very possible.
