CHATSPEAK 101

What is Chatspeak? It's the shortening of words, adding numbers and/or symbols to words and incorporating a large quantity of numbers and symbols into one's sentences that are normally included in the general 'Chatspeak' category. Some examples of chatspeak are... u, r, k, thx, ppl, any1, 2nite, ch4tsP34k and o/\/\9 10O5! 50 1337!

We don't consider ourselves very harsh when enforcing grammar however, chatspeak is something we do not allow.

It can make it very hard to read and understand what is being written, and it annoys a lot of people. No one expects you to be the next Einstein when it comes to grammar wisdom; all we request is an attempt to make your posts understandable by the general public.

So remember, whenever posting in public area's of the site... no chatspeak. Spell out words properly.
