Features:
o Trimmed down drivers for hardware I'll never own, tasks I'll never do with the
  systems under my control and features I'll never use.

Compilation process:
o Download the kernel-source-xxxx.deb or linux-source-xxxx.deb
  # Edit /etc/apt/sources.list to add the repository containing it
  # apt-get update && apt-get install {kernel,linux}-source-xxxx
  $ cd /usr/local/src
  $ tar xjf /usr/src/{kernel,linux}-source-xxxx.tar.bz2

o Configure and compile the kernel
  $ cd /usr/local/src
  $ ln -sf kernel-source-xxxx linux
  $ cd linux
  $ cp <somewhere>/myconfigfile .config
  $ make oldconfig
  $ make menuconfig/xconfig
        (customize kernel configuration)
  $ make-kpkg clean
  $ make-kpkg --stem linux --rootcmd fakeroot --initrd --revision=3:rm.<n>.0 --append-to-version -<n>rm-p4/k6  kernel_image kernel_headers kernel_source

  We get three packages under /usr/local/src:
    linux-image-xxxx-..._i386.deb
    linux-headers-xxxx-..._i386.deb
    linux-source-xxxx-..._i386.deb
