sweetco have now computerised all three main depearrtments

1. warehousing and stock control on the ground floor has now been implemented using a single IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN access point and a local server connected via 10mbps ethernet cross-over cable

2. administration on the first floor has been expanded and now has 22 pcs and a server connected through a 24port 10mbps ethernet hub 

3. sales and accounting on the second floor have 10 pcs and a server, these are now also netweorked to a similar way to administraation but run at 100mbps via a 12port switch.


on each floor networking equipment is located in the cupboard space adjacent to the interfloor service ducting, correpionding to the location of cupboard 2 on the admin floor. all 3 netwroks now use tcp/ip but theres no coordination of address allocation.

all 3 must be interconnected.
