Mandatory:
1) README.Debian should either include more content, or be omitted
2) Add a note that Debian packaging is copyright, 2007 & the license in debian/copyright
3) The Apache license isn't in common-licenses, so you need to include it verbatim in debian/copyright
4) Gizmod provides a library - see http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/column/libpkg-guide/libpkg-guide.html

Optional:
a) Consider adding a watch file (man uscan for instructions)
b) Consider adding a get-orig-source rule in debian/rules (just call uscan & possibly rename)
c) Given that there is not much trikery in debian/rules, consider CDBS
d) Discuss debianisation with upstream.  If you use upstream debian/, it's Tim's, if you alter it, it's yours
