These can be simple threads or a "quiz me" type thread. Like if a moderator created a thread called "Ask me about being a moderator"

[list]An ask thread has to identify what you're talking about, "Ask me about being a jerk", or "Ask me about The Spanish Inquisition"[/list]
[list]When people are asking minor questions like "Is it fun?" and stuff like that you should reply to all of the questions in one big post, so you don't have a million pages.[/list]
[list]When replying to one of these threads it has to be a question![/list]

Tell me threads are a different version of Question threads, they can have more than one question (just it has to be related to your topic) and more than one answer. It's a "state your opinion" thread.
