Heya Lucy. :-) Apologies for imposing on you, but I don't really know any other girls that I could discuss this with, and there's the added bonus that you already know about the whole Ali situation and you know her far better than I do. Essentially, I just want closure on the whole thing. Whilst obviously I'd prefer a positive outcome, I don't really mind if she rejects me (I'm almost entirely certain that she will, though I *hope* otherwise) but the fact that I don't know for sure one way or the other keeps me from getting over my crush on her and moving on. The fact that I've let it linger for two academic years is *completely* ludicrous. Lol - thing is, I have absolutely no experience with women whatsoever to draw upon (I haven't had any remotely close female friends since I was about 7) and every person I've asked (all blokes, with the exception of my 35-year-old sister) gives different advice. I have absolutely no idea what it is that I should do, and so I play it safe, and continue to live in an agony of indecision. As I have since the first year. :-D What d'you reckon? Lol - if you'd prefer to remain on the sidelines I perfectly understand (honestly, I shan't be at all offended if you do) but any advice you *do* fancy offering would be very much appreciated. :-) Like I say, even if it all blows up in my face, at least it'll be over and done with, and I'll feel like a complete and utter coward if I don't at least broach the subject in some way before she goes on her gap year. And no, I'm not drunk. :-D Cheers, -- Andy
