(23:35:16) you: i'm really amazed at how you manage to take this kind of thing in stride (23:38:29) me: i've been pushing my body so hard during all this. Consider my past weekend: work on Friday from 6pm to 3:30am Saturday morning. Get home and try to fall asleep at around 4:00. Curse loudly when alarm wakes me up at 7:00am Saturday morning to find this Driver Improvement Clinic that is actually in a Holiday Inn. Sit through driver improvement clinic until 6pm Saturday evening. Call work telling them I'll be late (my shift started at 6pm Saturday) and so arrive to work at around 6:30pm. Work until around 3:30am Sunday. Arrive home at around 4:00am Sunday, but wake up at 10:00am to have breakfast with my mom. Try to relax and get shit in order until Monday, 6:00pm where I have work until around 1:30am Tuesday morning. Then wake up at around 10:00am Tuesday morning to go to the DMV wait in a ridiculously long line to get all that nonsense taken care of with my licence. (23:38:53) me: I'm not trying to bitch at you. But thats just literally what I've been up to. (23:40:09) me: it wasn't until later today that finally got all this taken care of. My roommates are wondering where the hell I am. (23:41:30) you: i have no way to respond to that! you really need to take better care of yourself, but i guess you're probably doing the best you can, all things considered. will things slow down soon? (23:42:59) me: maybe, maybe not. the point is it doesn't really matter to me. Not that I'm completely apathetic to life or anything, I just always try to keep a mindframe that simply deals with the cards I'm dealt.
