[00:56] <daniela--> i unarchived it, created a virtual directory for it and ran it
[00:56] <daniela--> when i run with F5 I get this:
[00:56] <daniela--> Unable to start debugging on the server. Server does not support debugging of ASP.NET or ATL applications
[00:56] <djgk> you need to like have a debugger setup on the server
[00:57] <daniela--> when i run with Ctrl F5 I see in the address bar: http://localhost/Appname/default.aspx
[00:57] <daniela--> and i get a 404 code error
[00:57] <daniela--> all the other solutions that i have on this computer work
[00:57] <daniela--> i have other solutions from work, they work too
[00:57] <daniela--> even those that i create now run normally
[00:57] <daniela--> only this one won't
[00:58] <daniela--> most pages I;ve seen suggest that there is an installation problem
[00:58] <daniela--> an unfinishes installation or some wrong order indstallation
[00:58] <daniela--> but I haven't installed anyting lately
[00:59] <daniela--> and everything else works
[00:59] <daniela--> old or new solutions
[00:59] <daniela--> just this one won;t
[00:59] <daniela--> and what i've noticed:
[00:59] <daniela--> all other solutions start with http://localhost:PORT/Appname/somepage.aspx
[01:00] <daniela--> this one that won't work doesn't have any port number in the address bar'

[01:00] <daniela--> djgk, i assume the debugger is correctly setup if all other applications work
[01:01] <daniela--> with and without the debugger, they run

[01:03] <daniela--> ou would get this error if the application mappings for ASP.NET file name extensions (such as .aspx) are not configured correctly in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). 
[01:04] <daniela--> also i checked this and it's ok,  the mapping exists between .aspx and that dll
[01:04] <daniela--> which i didn't even need to check, because other applications work
[01:08] <daniela--> also in configuration section, both server and client side debugging are enabled

[01:24] <daniela--> also i don't get any icon in the tray saying Asp.NET Develeopment server http://localhost:2340/Web
[01:25] <daniela--> when i run the applications that work, i see this icon in the tray for them, saying the port they run on. But not for this one
[01:26] <daniela--> this solutions either doesn't start at all saying that message i pasted above (when pressing F5) or it starts with a page with 404 error and no icon in the tray (when pressing Ctrl F5)

[01:37] <daniela--> I also have apache on this machine for developing php, i disabled it and i see no difference
