this was for my own testing purposes , I also want to program a GTK installer for it.. as well :),  nice and appealing too.. but powerful.. and have it configure this all in runlevel 3,   I had a question about..   for  after I made it cd into    /usr/src and then ..  tar the linux source, isn't there a way you can have it tar the file.. without placing a name there, or kernel that others might not have.. so it could just tar the file :) and same idea I was going to do with ln -s as well thanks btw, for the assistance
