Alex: Looks like Lucas is back; should I talk to him? Ryan: Huh Alex: Seems like he's against them completely Ryan: Sorry to say, but they don't fit into the mold that Nyxsis "Proper" has. Alex: Yeah Ryan: It would do more for a higher rate server. Alex: Well, I don't see how, the class system sure, but even that is independent of rates. Alex: The only reason the class system is HR-prone is because you level easier there and get more classes, but even low-rates have people with more than one character. Alex: Plus these were all made for a RL. Alex: *LR Ryan: Having so many options of builds, corrupts the Gravity system, unless it is HR. Ryan: Plus, it is just confusing. Alex: I still don't see how it corrupts it, it's just like having tons more character slots. You're not getting on them all at once, and if someone wanted to have more character slots they'd just make a new account. Ryan: It corrupts the server on a low rate. It allows for too many combinations. Alex: It's not combining anything, it's practically just more slots but sharing account names and inventory. Ryan: Combinations as far as builds go. Ryan: It allows for too many combinations of builds within a class. Alex: It doesn't even combine builds. :P Alex: No it doesn't. Ryan: Listen to me. Alex: Like I said, builds are kept to their class and aren't switched. Ryan: Then it defeats the entire purpose having more then one slot. Alex: No, because they're limited to one per class tree, and it doesn't include all of the classes. Ryan: I'm not trying to sound harash or mean. But this won't fit in with Nyxsis. No matter how much you persist in fighting the matter. Alex: Sorry if I'm being a bit blunt. Alex: Nice timing. :P Ryan: So what exactly are you saying to Lucas? Alex: The conversation died pretty quickly, I just told him about the ideas pretty much Ryan: I want to point out one line in the conversation. Ryan: "AlexSuraci: I was discussing them when Bryan and Ryan and they didn't have any problems with them, and they're free to change if needed." Ryan: So, me and Bryan diddn't have a problem with them, and we were free in changing them if needed? Alex: No, "they're free to change if needed" was referring to the scripts. Alex: And what I mean by "didn't have any problems with it" is that I didn't have any major disagreements over anything that I saw. Alex: Not that it was 100% A-OK. Ryan: Those are two seperate statements. Ryan: Plus, I never told you I diddn't have a problem with it. Ryan: I believe I argued on the matter for quite some time. Alex: All the arguing was over explanations and miscommunication. Ryan: Dont put words into other peoples mouths, and when you do. Make sure to be percise. Alex: When did I ever put words in your mouth? Throughout the explanation all the feedback I got other than the explanations themselves were you contemplating about hexing the actual client to allow for the class system if it were implemented. Ryan: I was acting in a hypothetical sense. If the script was actualy to be used in any server. Alex: And that's all I got. Ryan: Yes I comtemplated about hexing the client to actualy make the script have a good use. Ryan: "AlexSuraci: I was discussing them when Bryan and Ryan and they didn't have any problems with them, and they're free to change if needed." Ryan: "free to change if needed" Ryan: You arn't talking about the scripts. Alex: What? Ryan: You are talking about "Bryan and Ryan" Alex: I'm still talking about the scripts, what I meant was that I could easily modify the scripts. Ryan: That's not what that sentence reads. Alex: Excuse me for not writing my sentence properly. Alex: Look, all I meant by that message was that I didn't recieve any completely negative feedback from either of you and that I'd be willing to change the scripts to fit more into the server if you guys wanted to. Alex: Why are you trying to make it look like I'm coming in here and throwing shit into fans to try and bring my *donations* onto the server? Ryan: So, having no negative feedback means said person doesn't have a problem? Ryan: I'm not, and I am wondering why you have brought that up, and why you thought that. Alex: I'm not a mindreader, the only things I get from you is text on a screen. Alex: Which was all hypothetical things about if they were to be implemented, which easily came across as positive. Alex: Again, I'm sorry if I'm blunt. The truth is I realized that message may have been a bit too out there the moment I entered it, but I never noticed the "willing to change" part. Alex: By the time it was sent I figured it wouldn't have been too terrible, guess I was wrong. Ryan: When Bryan comes online, you can talk to him. Thanks.
