00:25 < saxa_> hi
00:26 < saxa_> I cant get the last shadow sources from pld.org.pl
00:26 < saxa_> is there an official mirror
00:26 < saxa_> it seems unaccessible already for months
00:27 < saxa_> firstly was protected by password , no anonymous access was allowed
00:27 < saxa_> and now its not available at all
00:27 < saxa_> anybody can advise me or point me the right direction ?
00:30 < saxa_> I was trying to get 4.0.18 from ftp://ftp.pld.org.pl/software/shadow
00:48 < saxa_> yuhuuu
00:48 < saxa_> nobody here ?
00:51 < saxa_> :-(
00:56 < bubulle_> saxa_: pld.org.pl is down for months now..:-(
00:57 < bubulle_> saxa_: you can get original 4.0.18.1 sources from the Debian archive
00:57 < saxa_> hey bubulle_
00:57 < saxa_> is there some other official site ?
00:58 < saxa_> where the cvs or svn archives are ?
00:58 < bubulle_> http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/s/shadow/shadow_4.0.18.1.orig.tar.gz
00:58 < saxa_> mailing list ?
00:58 < saxa_> nobody has announced it ?
00:58 < bubulle_> the mailing list is down, the upstream cvs is down...
00:58 < bubulle_> nope
00:58 < saxa_> woow
00:58 < saxa_> no shadow at all then :)
00:58 < bubulle_> we (Debian maintainers) have just been able to see that happened
00:59 < saxa_> I remember when it was still working was 4.0.18
00:59 < bubulle_> kloczek (upstream author) is still connected on that channel but unresponsive most of the time
00:59 < saxa_> after that I saw it was asking for user/pass to login on the ftp
00:59 < bubulle_> the last released version has been 4.0.18.1, about Aug 2006
01:00 < saxa_> so this means that this pack is not developed anymore ?
01:00 < bubulle_> well, we (nekral and me) are considering building a maintenance team with Redhat/Gentoo maintainers, and kloczek of course
01:01 < saxa_> cool
01:01 < bubulle_> just need us to mick our asses, indeed
01:01 < bubulle_> nekral: ^^^ :-)
01:02 < bubulle_> s/mick/kick
01:02 < saxa_> so for now the ML is somewhere or not ?
01:05 < bubulle_> you can subscribed to pkg-shadow-devel on lists.alioth.debian.org
01:06 < saxa_> oh thx bubulle_
01:06 < bubulle_> this is the Debian maintainers list but we can use it for overall development
01:07 < saxa_> so the official ftp for now is debian one ?
01:07 < saxa_> i got it correctly ?
01:14 < saxa_> anyway thx for your time bubulle_
