Care to explain? Sounds very wrong to me. There are many open source projects, both using Ogre and extending it. Actually probably more than for Irrlicht, at least this is my impression from a short visit to Ogre showcase/using in practice forum and wiki and comparing it to Irrlichts project announcement forum and Irrlicht's wiki. 

btw, agi_shi, your example is unnecessarily complex, you're not prooving your point with it.
