Death list:

Very, very dead: Darlton. Inoue (one of the minor Black Knights).
Dead unless the producers are pulling a fast one: Orange
Left for dead at some point, but probably still breathing at the end: Ougi, Cornelia.
In a position that would kill a normal person, but will likely be ok: CC
Last seen in a position where logic dictates they should be dead, but they quite blatantly won't be: Lelouch, Suzaku, Kallen.

Miscellaneous highlights:

 - Cornelia deflecting an attack by throwing subordinates at Toudou.
- Assorted one-on-one mecha fights. Guildford v. Toudou. Kallen v. Suzaku. Suzaku v. Sayoko and Laksharta's espionage skills. Cornelia v. Lelouch.
- Diethard's detachment takes over the TV station. His old colleagues are not pleased to see him.
- Oh shit, Villeta is cold.
- VV: "Nanally, I've come to take you back." What. The. Hell.
- The person who ordered the guards reduced on the night Marianne was murdered turns out to be ... Marianne.
- Orange and his mech have a fantastic entrance scene. And a problem with obeying orders.
- Suzaku spends the whole of 24 in ANGER mode.
- Cecile and Llyod have a better entrance scene....
- ....and Nina has the best.
- Good god, CC has had a horrible life.
- You remember the leaked screencaps where Lelouch and Suzaku were pointing pistols at each other? Yeah, they fire. And Lelouch has a mini-sakuradite bomb. Strapped to himself.
- Cliffhanger ending.
