       HOME directories are presently mounted using nfs. NOT NICE!!

what we want is to use pam to create home dirs on the fly. now these will be created just temporarily. We then mount the home dirs seperately. looked at sftp/scp ssh basically.
seems fast and better than hfs.

but using sftp, i cant exactly get it to mount on a local dir.
