And the bear wandered looking for honey, but finding none in it's own field, and so he ventured forth to the neighboring field of the the bees. And the bees had honey and it was glorious. The bear longed to have honey and so he did what he could to be as the bees. He shaped wings from the leaves on the ground and the branches in the trees. He rolled through the mud to to hide his bear scent and while the mud was still wet, through the sunflowers to be yellow. The bees saw the bear that looked a bee and thought to their selves, "oh my, a new friend!" For a while, the bear and bees were happy and they had much fun together, but something wasnt quite right, the bees thought. The bear had not taken any honey, the bees noted. This being so, they put their fears to rest. Their new friend was merely that they proclaimed! A friend and a good one at that. Little did the bees know that the bear was merely wasnt hungry yet. He was content having fun with his new friends and his thirst for honey was not even a passing thought in his mind. And so winter came, and the bees with all their honey ready, went into their hive where they would stay for the winter. They invited the bear, but alas he was too big. The bear said "it is ok my friends. i have a cave i can stay in on my own." and the bear went to his cave. many days past and the bear grew lonely. He missed his friends and was angry that he could not be with them. then he noticed something. his thirst for honey, it was back. he remembered, thats why he had made friends with the bees to begin with. the bear, only truley after the honey, forgot his friends. "i do not need them if i can but have the honey,"thought the bear. The bear went to the hive and with a ferocious swipe from his paw, destroyed it spilling the honey across the snow on the ground. the bees swarmed with fury, "who dares to steal our honey?!" they exclaimed with anger. the bees saw the bear, who was no longer disguised as a bee, and not recognizing their friend, attacked the bear trying to save the honey. the bear, with his thick fur, safe from the bees, scooped up the honey and ran back to his cave, leaving the bees to face the winter without food. And so the bees, starved and sufffered that deadful winter as the bear sat content in his cave, tummy full of honey. spring cave and the bees began to rebuild. The bear woke, tummy without honey, and was hungry for honey again. He remade his wings and rolled though the mud and sunflowers, becoming a bee once more. He went to the bees, who did not recognize the one that stole the honey, and they accepted back to them again. And so the cycle repeated for no bee was ever wise enough to see the friend bee was a bear in disguise. Yea and if anyone can get the meaning of this story, good for you. Means you arent blind.
