Here's another problem I'm running into with Geoserver.

Summary: Whenever I try to UPDATE a feature, that feature is swallowed by some mysterious vortex on Geoserver's side (I think).

Before switiching to WFS version 1.1.0, I got a similar problem with updating, but with a request response that might be more informative.  The response before was a FAILURE, with the message: ""Error computing lat/long envelope of the current feature. This is needed to update the changeset bbox."

GetFeature - Little Phineas is gone.  This is the entire response of the GetFeature request.  I can't find sitez.34 or Phineas or Gage anywhere, and neither can the OpenLayers XML parser.
