10.3 installation crashed during 1. restart during installation. repair not possible. was dual boot with XP - reformated whole harddisk . made fixmbr on XP but grub is still there with choice between xp and menu opensuse10.3 installer local. How do I remove this grub which still controls something before fixmbr.    want a clean startup before I try a new install

sgt> did you run fixboot on that drive also? or just fixmbr?   only fixmbr    fixboot is new to me will try that one     error with crash was could not read HD, this is a laptop Zepto 6625wd with santa monica,  have suse problems with that _
